Tillage-

Objectives-

- To make the soil loose and porous (friable).
- To remove weeds.
- To mix manures and fertilizers.
- To destroy insects and their eggs.
- To aerate the soil.
- To increase the soil temperature.
- To remove stubbles.
- To break hard pan (big stones).
- To incorporate organic manures.
- To have repeated exchange of air & gases. Etc.
